Are you set on a greddy profec bspecII boost controller?
not necessarily, why what do you suggest?

the thing is I am tuned to 12PSI but because of spiking I have to set it to like 10 to 11 so it spikes to 13 for a split second then will be steady at like 10 or 11, in order for me to see a steady 12psi I would have to allow spiked to near 14 or 15 and the car does not like that it vuts fuel and pulls timing

Seems like I can avoid this buy setting it up to open earlier so it doesnt have to wait until 12PSI to open, which by then with a MBC is too late <---- this sound right

I have the apexi avc-r, and setting boost is very easy, you literally go to the boost setting and turn it up or down. It does measure in bars instead of psi tho. Also you can mess with the duty cycles which can help control spiking. Of course the best thing to do would be to port the wastegate. I think you are close to me, i am in ellicott city, md. You can come check it out if you want. The avc-r really does a lot.

I am not sure how its done, i do believe a bigger flapper is needed. Im sure someone can chime in here on how to do it. But call blouch turbo http://www.blouchturbo.com/ and ask them about it. May be worth it to send it to them, they quoted me about 100

Ok so the Greddy Profec Speb B II EBC is at my house, I have a pretty good understanding on how to install and configure, but I have one more question.

I will run 12PSI So to prevent SPIKING I will set up my "SET-GAIN" to open some where between 10-11PSI, laslty the "GAIN" will be adjusted to measure BOOST consistency??????? I dont understand, if it spikes/or spools to slowly then I have to lower my SET GAIN right? I dont undertstand what they mean by GAIN & BOOST consistency, is that the BOOST it hold till redline?

Also it seems liek you can do it to show PSI x100 so if it shows 100 its 10PSI, pretty awesome

ANOTHER QUESTION

If my Boost falls off or creep I have to INCREASE the GAIN, value, well it says by doing that I will INCREASE the BOOST, so do I then have to go back and change the SET boost?
