Hey thanks man, I was running on e85 but I will run dual maps we only have 2 gas stations here in my area that supply e85 so incase of emergency flick a switch and fill 98pump fuel.

The filter I am unsure of the specs but I have the model number here: RU-2510
It's a k&n filter. It also involves shaving the bonnet pin holder though, that's why I went with gas hood struts.

Nice build man. From looking at the pictures, I believe you may have the catch can setup plumbed wrong.

You have a hose running from the intake manifold to the catch can and then one from the pcv valve on valve cover to the catch can. The catch can is also vented it looks like. Won't this cause a vacuum leak since the catch can is vented? It also doesn't seem like the best option to relieve crank case pressure. My advice would be to run both valve cover ports to the vented catch can and cap off the intake manifold port. Also gut out the pcv valve when doing so.

Someone else chime in.

You know what I was just thinking the same thing looking through some other build threads.. How can I go about gutting the pcv valve? Capping the intake manifold is not an issue, it's just the pcv that has me stumped. I like the way others have welded bungs but I don't have the guts to do that to my valve cover. Any info would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Manny.

Finally! Looks good man. I just left my PCV/breather open for the time being. I plan on removing the PCV and running a catch can that connects one port to the breather and the other to the stock PCV location (using an AN adapter). Can't wait to hear it. Good luck on the dyno!

Thanks Kyle
Instead of using an AN adapter is it possible I just gut out the pcv as Mportracer33 mentioned? Is the pcv valve even needed?

Is your stock PCV threaded into the valve cover? On AP2's the PCV is threaded, so it's as easy as removing the old PCV and installing an AN adapter; not sure with an AP1. You can gut the PCV. It's not needed with your setup.

Ohh.. Ok that's why I was confused, your right my pcv valve just pops in and out. I didn't know the ap2 screwed in. Ok I will just gut my pcv and run the hoses from the pcv and breather. I will do it that way sounds good!

Did you have to remove the front stock "black bar" brace so that the intercooler could fit?
