I thought I would have needed to remove it but turns out it didn't need removing.

High boost applications will see crankcase pressure matching that of PSI boost pressures going into your combustion chamber which will require much efficient venting system than just the small PCV system and factory crank case vent tube to allow the removal of all the crankcase pressure. Eliminating the crankcase pressure will allow for additional power and also be much better for your turbo since the oil will return easier into your oil pan reducing oil back up in you return line.

P.S. make sure NOT* to run crankcase pressure back into intake stream, this will cause contamination of oil and gasses that can affect your tune as well increase carbon build up.

Here is a good example of a custom oil catch can setup to vent crankcase and capture extra oil that can be pushed out with the pressure.

I would love to setup mine like that but I dont want any more down time lol! Car has been on stands for most of it's life. I will gut the pcv for now get some enjoyment out of the car. In future though when it's time for a v160 an ford 8.8 I may switch to that way!

Thanks for all your comments so far! Tuning and a few vids to come.

Can't wait to see this beast finished !! Awesome stuff Manny.
Thanks man!! How'd you go with your SOS kit? End up getting the 1200 blower?

The member on here that purchased my kit, I ended up helping him with install too. Nice guy.
Hey, I still haven't pulled the trigger on buying the 1200 blower yet. I'm kind of hoping SOS will give me a good deal

I was thinking about the 1500 but in my situation its not really suitable for what I want. I would run the 1500 if I had a lower comp or more access to e85 in my area. Unfortunately I am limited to what I can do with 98 octane on a stock block..

Love to go for a spin in a turbo powered S, it would make my car feel so weak...

Hehe I will let you know how it runs when it's tuned! There aren't many turbo s2000s in Sydney that I know of. So i must say I can't wait to drive this thing!

Careful w/those silicon hoses. Once everything gets nice and hot those things will get really soft, the ones carrying a lot of vaccum may collapse, happened to me, the waste gate quit working. I only use them for windshield washer fliud and the BO valve now..........
