x3..also cut the hood and install vents...it gets extremely hot under there

I will remove it for sure then. I'm not very keen on cutting hood though I did install the track forged 6mm spacers but.

Bit of a stupid question guys is the wastegate springs interchangeable with the tial q bov? My black 6psi spring keeps the bov open at idle. As far as getting another spring locally it's a complete joke here in aus we are behind in technology by maybe 10 years. They all don't stock springs just sell the bov with the 9 or 11 psi spring for around $550 lol

looks good, engine bay does get very hot, i cut vents on my hood, i can see the heat wave when im at a light lol.

I dont drive in the rain so im not sure however my dumptubes come out my hood and the front of my turbo is by 1 of the vents so i cant see that being good if it started rainning

we have had really hard rain storms, havent finish trimming the vents like i want too.... so vent mesh inst installed, i drive in the rain 3 days in a row no issues,open hood really isnt that wet inside, think i kick more water from ground under side of my car lol.

haha i love seeing heat come out of the hood at a light. i kinda like the open hood look now... i may never put mesh in. washing the car is a lil different but not as bad as you think
