Such is life my friend, mistakes are lessons learned, nothing more true in the automotive world than you get what you pay for. As for shops who did crappy work, that is something many people deal with and you have to do your homework when choosing a shop. You still have a great car there with some good bones, don't sweat the money that went missing it has some good potential. Anyone who wants to boost a high compression NA motor has to expect some issues to come up eventually. Speed costs money, how fast does one want to go ? My dad always told me it is cheaper and less work to do a job once and done right, he never worked on cars but that really does apply to project cars. Look forward and make it your own. Nice set of cars you have there, very cool.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

It was especially stressful having to deal with someone who has your car hostage across state lines, but I was able to get his shop on my last installations "do not go" bulletin as he had taken advantage of a few other service members as well. I'm a little salty about it still but I'm mostly over it. Feels good to at least be making forward momentum on the car, makes me not want to do as much dumb shit to my daily.

Maybe, we'll see. I'll be keeping AP1Chief in mind either way.

A big pump and 1300's should be fine (and a good regulator). I certainly would not get a set of ID2000's these days. If you need more fueling from an injector, ID1700's would be a far better injector.
