I dont think it matters, I mounted mine on like a 90 angle to the charge pipe (basically parallel to the ground), however because the air is being pushed through at a high PSI it think it immediately gets dispersed in the airstream as if it was just part of it, ya know what I mean?
I was going to mount mine on the opposite of the pipe as my bov.. parallel and offset from it of course.
