You are right about every kit having issues. I previously had Ultimate Racing's kit and the only issue I had was the wastegate gasket burning up and the bolts coming out. But this was easily fixed for me.

I have yet to find a solution to my GT1 rattling. At this point I would take Ultimate Racing any day of the week. Even though their dual exhaust that I have broke on me the other day See all companies have their problems

I love how everyone is bashing Cody now as if LoveFab is the only company whose turbo kits have problems. I know first hand that ALL of the companies that offer turbo kits for our cars have some type of problems and kinks that need to be worked out. This happens to be an extreme case with Jakub, but it was also the first kit out there. How do I know all this? Well, the metro area has just about every kit out there and the local guys aren't some morons that sit behind computers and just say my so and so kit is the best, I run 300psi and never have any problems, and it drives like stock, yada yada... we have all had problems with our cars in one way or another, and guess what, they are all from different companies so to think that lovefab's products are the only ones where some fab work or headaches are involved is very far from the truth, and if you think you will buy another kit that will be 100% without issues during the install and the beginning stages then you are just kidding yourself. Stay stock or go with a SC'er and stock boost. I can only speak from experience, and this is what I have seen first hand, not what I read on a car forum.
Its not that we are bashing one company, its the fact that when spending 7500 on a kit and recieving shit for welds on piping, clearance is horrible ect ect... I'm sure cody saw the condition of the piping before it was shipped... why did he ship it? Who knows.

Guys if you have a better look at my first post, I didn't mean it as a personal attack.
So I hate to read crap from people that know Cody over the phone or personaly, consider him a friend and that's why try to convince me how perfect my kit was and how badly I screwed up.
Try to see things from my side. I've send 7400USD CASH across the globe in the believe that I get a 100% perfect product. I did not pay to deal with "the friendliest guy". I don't want to deal with him at all, I want my car to run for longer than a week before bringing it back to the garage.I would like to see YOUR face if you would spend that much money, would not be a friend of Cody and received those parts I did.
The pictures speak for them self.
Last word on the injectors: Cody did not even know if they are low or high independence and WTF should I or my tuner mess around with USED 780s when I paid for NEW 750s and a base map? Are you smokin' something or working with paint thiners lately

A short cut of the story is:

1.You pay this and get this.
2.I pay.
3.I get crap and tons of "Oh, all you need to do to make it work is...."

He should make sure it works (and does not look like crap) before he ships it out. He had 2 months.
Regarding shipping stuff back. I don't need those crappy parts, send someone from FedEx to pick it up, your problem. I wont pay to ship rubbish across the globe, sorry.

InlinePRO has a couple of issues here and there, but nothing of this magnitude.

PM me for comments.
I had my civic boosted and tuned by them so they have future business with my S as well. Nothing but good resolutions from little issues I've had from their kit and tune.

Dang man all I hear from everyone on these forums is the same damn line. "You get what you pay for!" I guess $7400 gets you a subpar turbo kit with tons more problems, but has the potential to make tons more power. The trade-off is not bad I guess . Maybe some of you guys don't understand, but when buying something just becuase there has been R&D doesn't mean one should sell b4 the R&D is complete and knows the customer will be satissfied. Every company has their little problems, but the original poster may as well jost got a new kit or something. I would vent more if not worse because a kit for that price I expect A WHOLE LOT, CAUSE I PAID A LOT!

In s2ki.com

MORE MONEY = BETTER QUALITY PARTS

Sometimes true and sometimes this theory is proved otherwise. I hope you get your matter fixed, but I was kind of sick of people putting down companies like Ultimate Racing cause you can't make insane power .

really shocked to see what you wrote (ex-eclipse), I know you had a few issues with your car, but damn. Cody went way over what I would have done for you. It is amazing to read some of what you guys wrote. I love Cody like a brother and I constantly see him fixing things that I think he should not do. I am Cody's biggest critic on his work, and I agree that some of the kits where not up to my standard at least. I have seen many other kits and can tell you that Lovefab work is top notch, and makes real power. My theory is, if you wanted a factory turbo car you should have bought one. If you turbo a non turbo car, there will be work to be done. If you cant do it, then pay someone that can. And that is true with any kit out there.
Who the f$$$ are you? You have been on here for one day and you want to tell me what Cody did for me? Are you one of his buddies who just signed up to defend him or are you Cody yourself under a different name?

I wish turbo charging the S was as cheap and easy as a Civic.

come on chadd thats a non flowing piece of crap intercooler pipe. 1st kit or not. i know you would'nt want that crap on your car.
It's 3" piping and even with that slag, it will still outflow my 2.5".
If I recieved that piping, the welds were nice on the outside, and the inside looked the way it does in the pictures, yes I would mention it to Cody and be a little upset but it will still flow fine. I would probably just take the piping and have it extrude honed to clean the slag out.

I have met you, I drive the orange EF. Pretty much you talk all cool and stuff in front of Cody and say all is good, then behind his back you talk smack. I am not defending the problems you guys have had with the Lovefab kit, just saying Cody does all that he can to help.

Spoolin, sorry man, I just have to say it...

I would be really pissed off if I dropped as much coin as this kit costs (and I did, just on another kit and other items ) and had to go have further work done like "have it extrude honed to clean the slag out".

When you spend this kind of money (at least me anyway) I expect more than having to do what you describe as no big deal.

15 years of running my own businesses has taught me, many times the hard way, that managing the expectations of the customers is often more important than anything else. I think this is the major problem here.

People expected more for their money.
