My warranty is a repair warranty. I do not replace parts unless I inspect them and determine they are unrepaireable.
I never had this chance with the broken parts because shipping was $500 for anything over 10 lbs, or large sized one-way.
First problem: Charge piping. It was "crude", I admit. I sent another set, no questions asked. I requested the old set back, Jakub declined, the shipping issue.
Second problem: Injectors. His tuner could not get the injectors to work properly. This brand of injectors ran great in my car. I then pulled my personal injectors because I knew they worked with the basemap that I DID send Jakub, which was the exact map that was in my car. I then fitted his returned injectors into another car, and, with proper tuning, they worked great.
Fifth problem: heat sheild. The heatshield was crushed in shipping. Simple as that. I offered a replacement, Jakub had his local shop build one.
I have done all that I felt I could do at this point. In retrospect, Im not sure I wouldve done anything different. Perhaps try harder for more of an expedited shipment, but there are only so many hours in a day.

1. For a customer who pays you 7500 for a kit, your so called "warranty" is horrible. This is a warranty a local shop would have with customers who live 5 minutes away from the shop, not people across the US. This will just delay the time, and if you'd fabricate your parts correctly you would minimize this situation. This issue alone makes me not want to purchase a kit from you.
2. Who are you shipping with? $500 for anything over 10lbs???
3. Why would you want back the old set? So you can save yourself money by reparing it and send it out to another customer?
4. Once again paying for such a high $ kit, to recieve used parts?
5. Judging from the pictures, I don't think shipping had anything to do with the welds.
6. Make a better quality product or not charge as much.

"I feel I bent over backwards for Jakub; he flew off the handle when I wouldnt ship him ANOTHER free part."
Cody I asked you since may to ship me that 12USD oil restrictor (long before I EVER mentioned anything negative about LoveFab on the forums), because you mentioned that it is really required and I should check if I have it (like if you woudn't know that I don't). It's something that SHOULD be there, not something I want for free just for the f$%k of it. Plus, I'm straight, I don't wont guys to bend over for me. All I wanted was the "best turbo kit hands down'. If you think I do not deserve a 12USD part and you want to rist blowing my turbo because of high oil pressure, your choise
"I have sent him the following, free of charge, after the initial sale:
One turbo manifolds($650);-because it cracked and had a thin flange. The new one is much better, thicker flange and thicker collector, just the weld between collector and flange did not hold up for a week.
Set of charge piping($500);-because the first set was a joke. and a bad one. Plus if you have the balls to charge 500USD for that what is shown in the pics on the first page, you balls must be the size of a football.
Injectors off of my personal car that were guaranteed to work- nevertheless they were used and not out of your car
Wastegate diaphram($40)-wastegate is too close to the DP (bad design) and went bad after 5000miles. I spend 75USD to ship the injectors back, so if you want you still own me 35USD
LoveFab GT1 oil filter relocation kit($500)- your cost is far below 500USD and this was a compensation for the labor I had to pay to fix the DP problem

for yourself, you were not able to help us over the phone for a good hour.
"I had NO clue this replacement manifold broke; today is the first day I have news of this - unless my memory is severly clogged. I wouldve replaced this manifold again, or at least repaired it."
-I can post a copy of the e-mail where I informed you about it, but I told you that I'm giving up and do not need any further help on this matter from your side.
"Fifth problem: heat sheild. The heatshield was crushed in shipping. Simple as that. I offered a replacement, Jakub had his local shop build one."
-let people judge based on the pictures if this has anything to do with crushing. The headshield was in the corner of the box, nothing has crushed. It's a joke, a 5 years old could do better. Have a look at your flawless desing.
For my own protection I would like to add that when a DP has a 2mm clearance to the frame, it does not really mater if you install it in 1 night, 1 week or 1 year. It will just hit, because of bad design. If the WG hits the engine mount, not even the best garage will make it fit without cutting.
Even my wife noticed that my car stands more in the shop than in our garage.
However, once the car runs, it feels great. I still like the way the kit looks, do NOT want the GT1 kit or any further compensation besides the oil restrictor.
But I have reached a point where I hate my car and wanted to let others know what "might" happen.
One more time I would like to say that Cody Loveland always tried his best to please and compensate me
But based on the e-mails you can see, he is a walking piece of lie. One week everything is fabricated, a week later he's working on it. He is not a company, he is a welder that got overconfident after he made one manifold, saw the financial potencial and released 2 kits before they became a kit (how many times did he add parts and raised the price?10 times?). He even took of the mini-me off a few weeks after he sold the first kits, so troubleshooting became a problem.
I don't want this to become a fight of who's right and who's wrong and please keep comments about sand and heat for your self. Dubai or Arizona, all the same.

The heatsheild that you got was the exact same that I did. It works great. Like you though I didn't care for it and made my own. If you thought you $7000 was for a heatshield, then yup you got hosed. I don't know about you, but Cody told me that the heatshield was not a "quality" piece but that it was functional. In that sence he was correct.
Jakub, I'm not trying to make your problems seem like no big deal. Most of your complaints are very legitament. But others are not. And I know that the cost of the kit makes everyone think that it should be "the best kit in the world". Well even with the issues it is. Look at the parts you get, Tial wastegate and BOV, Garrett BB turbo, EMS, and the manifolds are tubular stainless. That's what makes the kit so pricey, not the fact that it's a "Lovefab" kit. It would be much cheaper if he'd have made a log manifold, used an e-manage, or cheaper wastegates and BOVs.

1. He is a small shop, and that warrenty is better than most larger companies.
2. Well since Jakub lives in Dubia I don't think it matters who he ships with. How many things have you send overseas?
3. Why does Apple want broken iPods back? If there is warrenty on a product, just about every company I know wants the broke product back to inspect for customer neglect.
4. This one I'm no help on, I can't imagine why anyone would do this and it's just plain bad business.
5. Not going to argue, but if the box was beat up, then a small stress fracture in the weld would definitly expand and crack when heated up. Don't know if that's the case or not, but it's a possiblity
6. I have yet to have a problem with my kit and he sent me quality products...I think the money I spent on teh kit was well worth it.
fyi, I have the injectors in my car now, they work fine. I dont want to get into a pissing match. I am still taking this all in. one thought though, we all know that when you turbo a car that is not a turbo car, there will be some issues. sorry Jakub that so many "issues" acured with your car/kit.
Regardless of the experience of other people that own the Lovefab, jakub put up with 1000 times more crap than I would have. Mine would have been returned for full refund the minute I saw those "custom" fabricated pieces.

The kits are not one-of custome made. He has jigs he builds them on. A true custom kit is built on the car, then pulled off and the welds are finished.
ALL companies should ask for their products back there is alot of assholes out there that claim parts are bad get a new one and sell the old one .........if you owned a company you will feel the same way !
This post does not reduce my opinion of Lovefab as a company, or Cody as a person one bit. When considering this kit, or any turbo kit for that matter, you need to know what you are getting into.
Compare Lovefab to InlinePro. Inline has YEARS of experience testing and building turbo Hondas and a whole team of employees making it work. Most of their components are outsourced. What they provide is a turbo kit that is (for the most part) mass produced and trouble free. For many people, that is the way to go.
Lovefab is a one-man shop relatively untested in terms of reliability but very proven in terms of performance. For some this is the way to go.
I'll rely on the old automobile adage: "Never, EVER, buy a car in it's first year of production." I think it's more than applicable here as well.
To fork over $7,500 for a BRAND NEW untested, unproven turbo kit for a car that was NEVER designed or intended to run with a turbo, you had better know what you are getting into. Or have very deep pockets. Regardless of what you think about the kit or it's quality, I don't think Cody took a single wrong step in the handling of this scenario.
