My SOT intake modification.
Neptuner,
Do you have a thread about how you moved the fusebox without splicing? I would love to see it if you care to make one! There is a ton of space on the crossmember but I could not figure out how to get it there without splicing.
Ian,
I am probably about three miles from you in Cottage Grove. Send me a pm sometime after mid-may and you are welcome to take a look. My work schedule is too crazy between now and then and I will be working most nights and weekends until that time.

First I removed the OEM plastic harness connectors by slipping the harness terminals out of the plastic connectors. I acquired a spare fuse box harness, soldered on spade terminals and plugged the spare harness spade terminals into the OEM harness terminals. The spare harness has the proper plastic connectors to attach directly to the relocated fuse box.
The good part about extending the harness this way is all the wire colors and gages are correct in the extension. Also, all the soldering could be done on at a table instead of bending over the fender. If I ever want to go back to the stock fuse box location, no wire cutting or soldering will be needed.
