My supercharged story...

the "issues" with the ems could have been the cam/crank resistors not being of a high enough value.. on some cars its an issue and some its not. On mine and on a few customers cars I have had to change them out to get a proper signal. Its not an issue for a shop/tuner thats been dealing with aem for a long time. I honestly dont think that i have sold a honda ems in the last few years with out modifying something inside of it. The variance of stock honda cam/crank sensors is really baffling. Also, its not uncommon to see corrosion like that on ecu connectors, that does NOT mean water damage. There was no need for you to buy another ecu.... you got had there.
On another note... why take the car to autowave, Church did the install take it to them if something is wrong. They have been around for a LONG time and im sure will fix any issues you have with the install.
IMHO they made a mistake promising the car to be done in one day. I would figure the install would take a day or so, then another day on the dyno, and another day to tweak mess b/c something always comes up with s/c and turbo kits that takes a little time to fix.

The reason I took it to autowave was in my origonal post, because first I did call Church Auto and the guy was concluding on the phone that it was "the supercharger unit that needed a rebuild and vortech will have it for 3 weeks". The first thing that Autowave said was, "bring the car in so we can diagnose the problem and do it right"
Now you tell me, who would you rather take it to after hearing that?
For the third time, I reserve my judgment on Church Automotive for after I speak to them about the situation. The case is not closed yet.
Everyone (I say everyone because im not the type to point fingers) please keep this civil. There is no reason to get out of wack for anything. This is not finished.
I think that is in everyones best intrest for now.
Thanks guys.

Its a fact that other bad experience threads have been deleted, as to why, thats already obvious.
So if everyone wants to get on their soapbox, god knows no one wants to hear it, give both sides a chance to post their view of the story, and give Church a chance to rectify the situation. After thats done, then get up on the soapbox and preach on allll you want.

About 3 days later I pick up the car from Autowave with the kit reinstalled and with the new ems and with a new belt and new hoses and... well... check out my new dyno

I made 14whp more on a dyno that reads a lot lower than churches dyno.
Also Mike made me 2 different maps and installed a switch to change the maps (cutout open, cutout closed), Autowave also mounted the cutout switch for me. (which was just laying on the floor)
Churches dyno below

Over 400 rwhp on the Autowave dyno is really laying down the power. Congratulations
Welcome to the 400 rwhp club.
What size is that engine?

nsx bob, I'm sorry to hear about the problems you've had.
Let me just clarify a couple of things:
1.) Church Automotive Testing does not do installs on cars, or sell used parts.
2.) Two of my employees do rent space from me to do installs as a side business. I vouch for them, and as such, am disappointed (to say the least) by your experience. Obviously there will be consequences.
3.) I know I did express to you that any dealings on installs needed to be with them and not me. I will still back you up on your issues, but it needs to be made clear that installs are not being done under the aegis of Church Automotive Testing.
4.) Historically, the guys who do the installs are excellent. They have done work for a variety of top Honda race cars, including Hondata's landspeed RSX and CRX among others. That doesn't mean mistakes can't be made, and I'm sure they'll make good for you. I am back in the office tomorrow, so feel free to call whenever you like.

p.s. - We only revved your car to 8400 rpm. Had we revved it to 8900 had Autowave did, it would have recorded higher numbers (more boost, more revs = more power. But I don't recommend running over 8500 rpm for any length of time on an F22.)
i wouldn't let those people touch my car again, all those things wrong? thats a joke. get your money back. that aem was a scam obviously. they knew it was screwed. sorry to about your experience with lazy mechanics.
