-if you wanna give me a quote or anything on a turbo and everything thats needed with it please pm me

Goals

-make 300whp daily driving
-make 400whp when i race
-rebuild rear end after i install and tune turbo

heres what i wanna do
-buy a manifold, downpipe and intercooler that all fit together. (bolt on)
-currently looking at turbos (reccommend me any)
-im looking at a nice BOV (loud and nice recommend me any)
-what engine mangement should i go with? im gonna buy that first.
-If things look pricy i will consider a used turbo kit.
-I wanna install and learn everything.

Cheap = never equals reliable power.

Look into VTECs2k's kit.

I think you should probably buy a IP kit, you will have good results and easy install

Since your an 01, i suggest you get the AEM EMS 1052/6052

For engine management I would go standalone. If you have emissions in your state you probably should go K-Pro as it will "pass" the OBDII Diagnostic test whereas the AEM EMS will not.

I have the ultimate racing kit and make 310whp at the base wastegate pressure of 8psi.

You will need a new clutch.

You should also get gauges to monitor at least:

Wideband O2 sensor and Gauge to monitor AFR
Boost
Oil Temp
Oil Pressure

and if you get an EMS then you will need a water temp gauge as well.

Obviously this is not in-depth info at all, but my best advice is this:

Decide what exactly what kind of turbo setup you want (power, transient response/lag, mid-range, max power, etc)
Research and pick a kit that meets your needs.
Find a good installer/tuner even if you have to go a little farther to do so
DO NOT CHEAP OUT. Inevitably, the part you cheap out on will be the one that fails. Failure with FI can be very expensive.

I think as right now, Mase's full turbo kit, comes w/everything for $6500 pre-tune, pump gas around 400whp+. Best bang for the bucks.

Really. I didn't know that. I ordered mine since July 09, I did upgraded to 6262BB, 44mm wastegate, dual walbro fuel pump for $7200.

Mase's must change price recently, i'll ask him price next time i talk to him.
