yeah what tires do you have anyways? I spin my ties with stock gearing when it is really..REALLY cold out (30 degrees out)

245/17 Potenza RE-01R. they only spin in 1st or 2nd. when they aren't warmed up they can spin at any rpm in 1st or 2nd. when they are warmed up, it depends on how hard i hit it at what rpm

once warmed up, they have VERY good grip in freezing temps as well as in the rain, and in light snow they are doable. very good considering they are a top shelf extreme performance summer tire. in the warm weather, they are simply amazing. i've never pushed them to the limits at the track or auto-x but i do drive spiritedly regularly. from my experience they are a VERY grippy tire in warm weather once warmed up. never lost traction in the warm weather no matter how crazy i drove.
