need advice on turbo for s2000

Default need advice on turbo for s2000

hey guys i just bought my self a 2001 s2000. When i took it for a test drive it was an amazing car but it just didnt have the accel and top end i wanted but there was noway i wasnt going to get it just because of that reason. So i want to turbo it and i know alot of you guys have turboed yours so could i get some advice on what i need to for a turbo for it. Im looking for around 300-350whp how much would it cost to get that? any advice would be great. and how realiable are these cars with turbos?

thanks for the advice. with the aem chip is it hard to tune by urself because there isnt alot of performance shops where i live

not for a turbo kit no, there are too many variables that differ kit to kit. As I said, no good tuner, don't bother

Greddy kit is plug-and-play and runs pretty decent on the included basemap. Sure it can be greatly improved on with a good tune, but it is still a huge difference over N/A. Either that or a vortech S/C with just the included FMU and FPR would be your best bet.

yea get something pretuned like the kraftworks s/c or if you want to stick with turbo get the greddy

Pfabrications kit/Kpro greddy Ti-R exhaust I like it,except get the tubular manifold insted of the log & fuel system,injectors,clips,FPR,
rail,etc.But yea tuners are needed I live in hawaii a little difficult to find
raw knowledge.
