I was going to say ultimate racing, but it looks a little different from their kit.

It's a Speedcraft, not UR. Speedcraft has been out of business for years. It should have a turbonetics 60-1 hifi with a Tial 44mm Wg and BOV.

It uses a stainless WPB log manifold and a relocated oil filter. The relocators from speedcraft where cheap and well known for leaking.

This was one of the 1st kits sold back in 01 for the S2K.

Speedcraft's original engine management was a VAFC and a FMU. They reccomended the AEM EMS when it became available.

so, you're saying that it would be fine if i get an AEM EMS and a different oil filter relocator? any suggestions on that?

is this worth it then? or should i just try and find a stock S and save up for F/I.

It depends on what they are asking. I wouldn't pay much over KBB for it. The driveability with the FMU isn't the greatest.

I'd definitely upgrade to a Canton oil filter relocator. EMS, 850cc injectors and a 2mm HG you'll be just under 500whp with it. The kit maxes out around 525whp.

so the turbo kit itself is solid and reliable?

how much HP can a turbo S make without getting new internals? or does it come with forged ones?

The manifolds have known to warp, and the low mount manifold limits what turbo you can use. Don't expect stock reliability. It's far from stock. Stock shortblocks have been decently reliable at moderate boost settings with a thicker HG to reduce static compression ratio. There is no free lunch though. The farther away from stock you go the less reliability you will have.
