Default Need new injectors... Time to upgrade?

I have a CTSC w/ AC and 7psi pulley. I think my stock injectors need replacing (random misfire CELs).

A few basic questions:
1. Would this be a good time to up the boost and upgrade to a smaller pulley? The OEM injectors run $450 and I might as well put that towards RC440s or something like that. How much would a basic "upgrade package cost?"

2. How long would it take me to replace the injectors in my garage?

1. I suggest some RC650..you'll also need some type of EMS or piggy back. I have an Emanage Ultimate and it works fine for me.

Emanage Ultimate $500
Boomslang harness $200
Injectors and clips $400
Pulley and belt $150
wideband $150 if you don't have one already.

prices may vary depending on where you get them.

not sure about 2 since i didn't install the injectors myself.

I just installed some 550cc injectors that are drop in OEM fitment (no spacers or OBD-I adapter clips). Shoot me a PM and I will let you know if the place I got them has them ready for sale yet.

I am supposed to chat with them tomorrow - since I was the test mule, they are waiting till I give them my feedback and tune results before they put them for sale on their site. Then I will post the details of my install with some pics, etc.. (probably tomorrow).

are there any negatives to just going with 750cc injectors even though i wont need it? they all seem to be the same price no matter what size.

No negatives, just leaves room for more boost. As Enthrall stated, you will need some sort of piggyback fuel management. The E-manage ultimate is a good choice and will have more options than most. If you just want something to control fuel, a cheaper option would be an Apexi Neo or VAFC2. I had the Neo, but it isn't too great without a wideband o2 sensor and guage. Just my .02

You'll be ok. Next month I'll be all ready and set. 750cc, Vortech SC, and Hydra EMS.

Be sure that the random misfires are not due to the coil packs.

Already swapped out and rotated the coilpacks with a few spares that I had lying around.

Not to jack the thread but I'll be letting go of a blue emanage and all of its goodies i.e. boost sensor, boomslang harness. In about a month or so as I am going to an AEM setup. If you are interested shoot me a pm. I will be letting it go very cheap.
