What boost were those runs at?
16 and 26 psi.

Revenge, I do not want to waste my mom on a BB turbo. I do not think it's worth the extra money.

The 6165 is rated to 670hp. If you dont want more than that why upgrade it? If you do want more than that then go with a GT4088R.
I won't be going over 670hp right away, but eventually I will... But I'd still be able to get to a specific number easier with a different turbo. If I was going to keep the 6165 I'd still need to change the housing on it and figured I mind as well "upgrade".

I gotcha, you are right though a different turbo will get you big power a little easier. The turbo you have apperars to be VERY similar to a GT3582R so why dont ya go GT4088R and have enough turbo for 800whp? Same turbo CFT used on their 9 second car I think.

Well if the power went up by such a small amount with 10psi more, I dont even need to ask if you are running a log manifold. You would be better off with a smaller turbo because you could make the same power and have better spool/response. The log mani was the major restriction.

I think you should switch to a tubular manifold and run something like a billet 5857 or 6062. Im positive with you can make 600+whp @ 26psi and a 5857 and you would have made more power on the same or less boost with a 6062(log mani).

that is my thought on all of these. The gt4088 would be a turbo I would be able to use for a long, long time. The only thing holding me back is the spool time. I don't want the car to be a dog until 5500-6000k. What fun would that be driving on the street? Granted it'll spool a little quicker with a tubular and e85... opps did i mention e85?

I am doing a tubular manifold. That is the hole reason for this post

What are your manifold plans, T3 or T4.....divided? I say go S366, supposed to have same spool time as GT35r, but more hp. Who knows that I found that off some DSM guys (wink).

I'm going to be ordering the turbo this week, so I really need to figure out what I am going to do.
