So this morning i went to go start my car and it does not fire when I try to turn it over. It does not start but makes a popping noise out of the exhaust when trying to start...

How can I get it running so I can bring it to get retuned?

You think its flooded because its been running more rich everyday?

any CEL being thrown before this morning? Going rich will trigger a P0172 code. I think your tune is messed up. i suggest having it towed to your tuner

I agree, just tow it. Its not worth risking. Sounds like you have enough trouble to deal with already with the tune. Dont tempt fate by continually driving it. I would change your oil before taking it to the tuner. there is a good chance from the sound of it that you have flooded it, dumping fuel in the oil pan.

So everyone... My car has not started in three Weeks.... Ran extremely Rich on a Saturday and on Sunday never would fire up... It would crank but after that it would just make I big pop sound and a ball of flame would come out the back of the exhaust... Tried seeing if I had spark and I did, and there were no gas on the spark plugs just some carbon build up.

But what I realized is that the spark plugs were never gapped and they used a weird brand of spark plugs. Brisk and either was not gapped or gapped extremely low, I could not even fit them through my gap coin, I would say they were all gapped at 0.18 which is CRAZY so I am just thinking they did a terrible job on my car,

So now I have had an appointment at T1 Racing Development next tuesday Dec 7 and the manager Tony Palo is totally retuning it and looking for possible problems.

So I have been trying to get it started to drive it 4 hours rather than tow it. So I will keep everyone informed, I am terribly upset and distraught and after next week will be $5000 in parts in labor and so far a 60 hp increase from stock

Tow it, or you might find yourself spending another $5000 in motor parts and labor.

AAA cost $90 a year. I can't count how many times over the years I’ve saved my a$$ with this and my s2000 issues.

If you insist on driving it anyway, at least gap your plugs to 0.30ish or better yet replace them... and change your oil! This is assuming the plugs will get your motor running again. If you do manage to get the car to run, and the idle/cruise afr is in the low 10’s …don’t bother, that motor will be fuel washed by the time you get an hour down the road.

Thanks for the advice s2000Junky, The tuner in dallas told me to pull the fuel pump fuse, try to crank it to burn up all the access gas, replace spark plugs, change the oil, if still does not start, change map sensor back to stock... if all fails... time to tow!!!

Manny-s2000: WoW! thats double what I paid for the car... It goes to show you how much you have to be in love with the s2000 to put that kind of money in it

Anyways... I am praying that they figure it out and produce 400whp before I get it back!
