S2ksupercharged- believe me they did the same bad job on mine? I just wish I had left them a bad review on H-I. If it ends up being a bad tune job then you should leave a honest review just so everyone is aware.

im not trying to jack your thread but just wanted to say ... i live in Houston, tx myself and iv been having the same crap happin to me. I just put on a really nice turbo set up on my car and iv been running into some of the same things you are. i was only at 297hp on 13lbs of boost on 1st tune. They put in the wrong plugs and wired up my boost controller back asswords. charged me $800 and my car wouldnt even stay started. FML! I went to another tuner 2 days later and spent another $500 with him and he got 361hp out of the same 13lbs of boost.. ( way better tune ). I could swear i should be closer to 400 but ill take it. Its been a week now and my car keeps dieing at red lights and if i stay in one spot for a few mins and then take off .. my car goes all the way lean and stays there.... car putttt puttt stall putttt puttt stallll then oil smelling smoke out the back ... then car goes like nothing was wrong at all and no smoke at all... oil filter location kit just started to leak a lil just found out i needed an electronic boost controller because my $30 new spring and $150 manual one wont keep it at 13lbs... it goes..... 16/13/14/13/15/14/13/12/13 all in 1 pull. Took it to a shop to check for boost leak and after some time ... there is not one...

im at over $8,000 spent on turbo kit, clutch, some install work,a few gauges, 2 tunes and so much little stuff all in 1 1/2 week.

I parked my car lastnight and walked away from it with the I could care less if you catch fire overnight. Atleast I would get some money back out of you!

I dont have a clue what is wrong with my setup and at this point i could care less.

Just wanted to tell you my story so you would feel so bad about your set-up. Some of us just get the crap kicked out of us before it all works out.

GL with your new tune. I was told to go see scott also. I might just have it towed there and let him have it for a while. because If i have to drive that car 1 more day and it dies on me and runs like crap........ I might just .... who knows.......

GL with your set up ... keep us all up dated

Thanks for the advice s2000Junky, The tuner in dallas told me to pull the fuel pump fuse, try to crank it to burn up all the access gas, replace spark plugs, change the oil, if still does not start, change map sensor back to stock... if all fails... time to tow!!!

Manny-s2000: WoW! thats double what I paid for the car... It goes to show you how much you have to be in love with the s2000 to put that kind of money in it

Anyways... I am praying that they figure it out and produce 400whp before I get it back!
oh my.. is that how cheap s2000's are in the us? It costed us here in aus $80,000 odd dollars for a new s2000! Second hand now for a 2001-2 model are still fetching around $25,000. We get slammed here with everything its absolutely crazy.

WoW $80,000, well atleast your dollar in AUS is worth a dollar. the way our economy is going, our dollar is going to be worth a Quarter someday...

But anyways, I bought it for Under 12K used! Seem liked a great deal, now its liked worth 18k with all the money I put in it, which still seems like a great deal considering that S2000 are still expensive!

1st off... no matter how much you put into your car ... its still worth the same as stock at a dealer. and only worth what someone will buy it for. people dont like to buy a moded car ...they want a stock car

It sucks doesn't it... But I am pretty sure it comes with everyone. I just hate having to learn it the hard way.

You need to check your fuel pump, regulator, or map sensor. my car started to die at red lights and found out my fuel regulator went out and there was not enough fuel pressure. Or an injector leak... You should get on the train with me and head up to T1 Racing development, even there customer service is professional, I feel very secure that I will get everything done correctly by them!

I also documented my spark plugs and took pics on how small they were when I get them from H-1 to show them there Crappyness! (not a word but it felt good making it up)

ill keep everyone posted!
where you live in tx? you driving it there or towing?

I am trying to get my car started, and if I succeed in that. I will still have to test to see if my car wont just go rich again on the way, So If I get it started. I might just put it on a trailer and head to T1.

I love 1 1/2hrs north of houston and 3 1/2 hours south of Dallas... Double screwed when my Car needs retuning...

I live in Lufkin, TX
