A bit off topic but 018" gap is not that crazy. I run about .020" on my turbo setup.

Unless your spraying a liberal amount of water injection or making in excess of 600whp on stock coils where spark blow out is apparent, its unnecessary and your likely suffering in performance. You want to run as big as gap as possible. I run 0.33 at my power level and I run water/meth injection with no blow out issues.

Cool story, got a call from Secret Services Auto (the people who tuned my car) yesterday asking when I was going to bring my car in to see if they can figure out why it ran so rich and why it wont start. I called them 4 weeks ago when it first started acting up to ask them why its reacting so poorly and that I could not start it, and they said to bring it back... I did not want to go through the hassel of bringing it back to the tuners that already tuned my car wrong...

Well he called asking how my car is and why I have not brought it to them and I told them I did not feel satisfied with your tune and I don't feel like you guys are knowledgeable enough when it comes to my setup. I also talked about other people that own S2k's (aka s2ki.com) that I know have gone to your shop and felt like they were not given the best tune and that there were major flaws in the tune and have gone to different tuners after your shop and getting better numbers and have found problems with your employees work...

So Long story short, I told him the circumstances that lead up to my car running rich and not starting and he said he was 95% sure it was fouled plugs, so he overnighted me 2 sets of hotter plugs and he said he would pre gap them and have them to me today (which i did not believe) but this morning I received them in the mail, switched them out and started up fine, but still runs rich, But hey now I can drive it to T1 instead of towing it on a freakin dulley and have to disconnect the drive shaft. I can now bring a running car to T1...

Happy day, Has not ran in a month and now in 4 days T1 will save my life!

Now I have seen great builds that they have done and read lots of great reviews about their work but as far as I go I will not bring a car back to them. But good thing you got the car running again.

UPDATE!

So, as you know, last thursday I received a call from Secret Services Auto asking when I might bring my car down to them, and I answered that once I could get it started so after telling him the problem I had with my car, he felt like the problem was the plugs, so he overnighted me 2 SETS OF PLUGS, (which I then proceeded to google the price on them which was $38.00 a set, which is $76 + overnight shipping = WOW good service from SSA) So I put the first ones in and it started up like a charm... But it was still running rich, but SSA was insistent that I should bring it to them on Saturday to get it resolved, After a day of thinking about it, I told them I will come. So I arrived at SSA at 9:00 Saturday Morning and they pull my car right in and started to work on it trying to see why it ran so rich so quick...

Ended up being that the Hondata Map Sensor was Defective and was only reading to -0.08 which it should be -0.20, so they replace it with the internal Haltech 2 1/2 bar map sensor, after they finished tuning it, it still read 267whp (same as weeks before) But the guy brought me out to my car while it was lifted and explained to me why the header I have on my car is a big reason why there is power lost, and he showed me the quality flaws of the header (Keep in mind, I bought the car with this header already installed, And I am not knowledgable enough to tell what a crappy header looked like) and he asked if he could do A before and after testing with the one I had on there, and a stock s2000 header they had in the shop, so after a couple hours of tuning, this is what the difference was:

if any one can see the difference but that is a 54whp difference in just changing the header to stock, the red dotted line was from my header I had on the car... Look how it falls off at the end of the RPM's and now look how the stock has a great rising line. Never knew headers are such a great asset. I know that flow is the most important factor in the FI cars but I had no idea just going to the stock header would be such an increase... so after all the tuning on the stock header, they proceeded saying that you can keep the stock header on your car now, if you will let us cut the header you had on your car when you came in here. I was like heck yea.

I am really shocked and amazed by there great customer service, I guess the biggest thing I learned through all this is, "Don't blame the tuner, blame the Car"

They worked on my car close to 5 hours, gave me 2 new sets of spark plugs and a new header, all for FREE! they came to explain that the biggest reason people give us a bad name, is because no one will call us if there was a problem, he said if it was there problem than he would spend the money to fix it. Even though that the Map sensor failure was not there problem, he felt like he needed to fix it to show me that they care about there customers...

I feel like an idiot for judging so quickly with them, I canceled the appointment with T1 and now I am exclusively only dealing with SSA, after the service they showed me on saturday, I am confident I am in good hands with them.

NOW I AM ON THE WAITING LIST FOR HYTECH'S SUPERCHARGED HEADER, keep checking in for the final overall difference in numbers a header can make from crap - to stock - to hytech.

Well good to hear you got things rectified! I run the OEM header, it really is hard to improve on. I make great power for the little amount of boost I’m pushing. Would be curious to know what that junk was on your car. Sounds like some cheap generic Ebay thing by the sounds of it.

Your pushing 13psi? Mustang dynos read the lowest so on an average dynojet type you probably are pushing 375-390whp or so.
