Hey guys, my 2002 Vortech SC'ed battery is finally dead from the original battery. I just wanted some advise of what other's are using on their car. I am sure i can just replace with a standard OEM but didn't know if there was a better performing battery that might last longer. I'm happy with the OEM last more than 5 years but figured I would get some input since car is in garage for cold weather anyways. Thanks guys, let me know type or part number and price if u know it. Having a supercharger makes no difference to your battery just a little more power used for the aftercooler waterpump. I went with a Diehard gold battery since it gets cold here in new york and it has a 3 year full replacement warranty and prorated after that. I would say just get something that has a warranty and you will be good for a while.
