Ok, baro was 25.07 inHg. Which translates to 2.32 psi below sea level. And somehow he's going to make 100whp on 2.3psi?

quiet down. Adults are talking.

Mace, I respect your opinion and know who you are. But you know the SAE correction cannot be ignored even for FI cars. As they're only advantage is changing pressure levels. Not increasing oxygen content, and turbine/compressor efficiency is still extremely compromised (which kills high overlap, high velocity turbine setups).

Which is why I normally run uncorrected, and explain to them the elevation issues when im up in high altitude. What is the standard correction %?

Simply put this is an exact example of why SAE does not work for turbo cars.

At the end of the day, its not my job to make customers egos larger. Its to tune the car right. I dont really care about what correction factors are. I care about what the car is making at that very moment at that very location. I dont care what the car would make in the california weather if its never going to leave the moutains of aspen colorado. Every dyno reads completely different anyways, so correcting it to make all the worlds dyno charts similar will never happen.

This car is obviously making good power uncorrected. thats all that matters. Post up the uncorrected numbers and lets move on lol.

Midas,

IF you believe so much in this setup and are right, back it up.

Simply take it to the track, post the results. You can't use a correction factor w/trap speed.

/end thread.

but it's MY car....I didn't build it for the track, I just want to enjoy some "spirited" driving. I honestly don't care what it could or could not do in the 1/4 mile.

No doubt Scott. Your car, your rules. You didn't come in here claiming your car made ungodly power, you just repeated what was told to you. You stated from the jump that you were new to this so all of this backlash is not on you. Its your tuner that came in here with the arrogant attitude that doesn't know what SAE correction is or does.
