Default New set-up. Please give me your thoughts

Hey guys I have been wanting to get a bit more out of my car, here is my set up now:

Comptech novi 1000 with 10psi
RC 550
Ultimate Racing FMIC with HKS SSQ BOV
Cat-back exhaust
EMS
innovative mounts

with the FMIC Im only boosting about 8psi at 310-320hp range so I put a call into Jeff Evans and he recommended to lose the FMIC and go with SOS aftercooler + front mount heat exchanger and 11 psi pulley. He also recommended a Tial BOV (I've come to like the noise between shifts)instead of the recirculation bypass valve setup. With this he thinks I will be about 360-390hp.

What do you guys think of the set up? Is it a good choice/safe?
I have never seen the tial bov, does it sound nice? My HKS sounds good at full boost but normal driving and deceleration it sounds like a turkey, lol.
I didnt think the SOS system had a BOV flange like comptech...

I just want to make sure this is a safe set up, I will get the power Im after, and still have my BOV sound.

Your BOV sounding like a turkey isn't a good thing. If you mean what I think you mean, you could be hearing compressor surge due to the pressure not venting fast enough/properly. The SOS aftercooler does have a port that is normally fitted with their standard bypass valve, just like the CT kit. This can be replaced with a BOV, guys do it all the time. I have a TurboSmart BOV on my CT aftercooler. It seems to work OK, but I am moving towards a larger diameter unit just to be 100% positive I am venting the pressure correctly.

The aftercooler instead of your current intercooler setup will certainly help with the boost loss. But I don't think that moving from 8 PSI up to 11 PSI is going to net you an extra 70 HP. Your lower end of +40 HP is more likely. Some others with similar boost range will jump in shortly to deny/verify this.
