New supercharger kit
If you want something in the next year then go comptec or vortec!
I have bene thinking about this for more than 6 months and have the money waiting to go. It seems to me that if you want ease of use and reliability then you have to go with the Comptech. If you want more power low down then go turbo but be prepared for headaches (or buy another car).
The units from JR and BRP could be months at best and years at worse. Plus you have to consider wether you want to be an early adopter/guinea pig.
I just bought a gen ii induction kit so mine makes a nice noise for the moment and am prepered to wait up to 6 months or a year to see how these new kits pan out (if they are ever released).
Projects currently under consideration:
Fitting Gen ii
Buying a big hi def TV
Drinking a beer

I guess it's about time I post something here. It's been a while since I have gotten back into the S2000 message boards. I got a Porsche and have since been taking it to the track along with my Spec Miata. I still have an 04 S2000 but I always missed the 9K RPM. As you all know I have been against getting an SC because up to now you only really get minimal performance increases and only at the top end, in fact all the current SC are actually slower from 0-60 and only a few 10ths of a sec faster in the 1/4 mile. Well this new Oscar Racing Super Charger has changed me. The amount of power and acceleration gains are intoxicating. I'm hooked so I purchased a 00 S2000 just for this new SC from the new Jackson Racing. I'm also buying a Lotus Elise so they can SC that also. I have driven the Fit with the 10 psi SC and man it will give the stock S2000 a good run.
I'll keep you guys informed on the progress but I'm sure it will be posted on Jackson racing's website as soon as it's available. All I can say is they are being conservative on the Jackson racing website about the performance of the new product. And just to clear things up Moss motors is not calling the shots, it's 100% Oscar Jackson so you know it is going to be done right!!!
