if i remember correctly, that car never suffered any engine failure, and the only reason the car was down was because it was totaled.
Fair enough...but at the same time it wasn't ran on the track...which is where an engine's health is truly tested. Simply running it around the street is not the same thing, and by no means validates whether the engine will remain healthy at certain power levels.

Ya running bikes and countless cars on the highway at high speeds doesnt prove an engine, 5th and 6th gear pulls on our cars are nothing. Note the huge amount of sarcasm.
Anyways to keep on topic nice numbers sbrod im suprised you ran out of 1000cc injectors at under 600?

AMS will tell you first hand that the stock S2000 motor cannot handle 800hp for extended periods of time. They will further tell you that a stock Evo motor cannot handle 800hp for an extended period of time, and the Evo motor is stronger than the S2000 motor.

My car saw 40+ passes at the track. I have track footage. My car was beat on like there's no tommorrow. To say I didnt push my car is a under statement. I made 10 passes at Import Face Off oklahoma (last race it was at) and 2-3 of them were hot lapped. Dont tell me I didnt push it.

I have no doubt 800whp can happen...hell even 1000whp, lol..but to see if it "lasts" is another.

I won't say it's impossible...just unlikely..but I'm sure we will see.

Go F2x motors!!

Btw, nice numbers!!!

Very nice man, great numbers!!

Side note:

I think our motor is comparable to an Evo motor or pretty close. We have a weaker bottom end but we have an awesome head, something that a 4g63 doesn't have. Their head flat sucks; they just get away with it because they can just run massive boost to get by. 4g63 is one of the best 4 clylinder motors ever made period. Their whp record is 1130whp, ours is 933 I believe. They just have the benefit of traction, its pretty disheartening to see an evo jump 2 cars from the get-go at a 40mph roll...

I'd glady sacrifice another 200lbs for an awd setup on our cars...

It would make an s2k simply amazing.
