I have no doubt 800whp can happen...hell even 1000whp, lol..but to see if it "lasts" is another.

I won't say it's impossible...just unlikely..but I'm sure we will see.

Go F2x motors!!

Btw, nice numbers!!!

My car saw 40+ passes at the track. I have track footage. My car was beat on like there's no tommorrow. To say I didnt push my car is a under statement. I made 10 passes at Import Face Off oklahoma (last race it was at) and 2-3 of them were hot lapped. Dont tell me I didnt push it.
Go run a full race season and come back to me.

Very nice man, great numbers!!

Side note:

I think our motor is comparable to an Evo motor or pretty close. We have a weaker bottom end but we have an awesome head, something that a 4g63 doesn't have. Their head flat sucks; they just get away with it because they can just run massive boost to get by. 4g63 is one of the best 4 clylinder motors ever made period. Their whp record is 1130whp, ours is 933 I believe. They just have the benefit of traction, its pretty disheartening to see an evo jump 2 cars from the get-go at a 40mph roll...
Not turning this into an S2000 vs. Evo debate...but the F20/F22 is definitely more efficient than the 4G63. As strong? Hell no. The 4G63 has an iron block and is already at a big time boost ready 9:0.1 compression ratio. Although the F20/F22 has forged pistons and rods, the rods are pathetic chicken bones and will not hold under high boost conditions.

For some people 40+ passes is a race season. When we pulled the motor apart to build it, it showed no signs of wear or tear.

True enough. Glad to hear your motor held up to that point.

Alright guys, this post was meant to be about my tune... It's about me! Not about how much our motors can handle. No one can say for sure until it's really be proven. Until then maybe it can maybe it won't. And if someone does does do it cough cough and has success it doesn't mean all of our motors will handle. Just like if someone does it and has problems, that doesn't mean everyone will have problems.

AMS will tell you first hand that the stock S2000 motor cannot handle 800hp for extended periods of time. They will further tell you that a stock Evo motor cannot handle 800hp for an extended period of time, and the Evo motor is stronger than the S2000 motor.
funny you say that, i looked at pics of evo rods and the f20 rods are much thicker. Hmm.....odd. Why dont you be nice, Jeff's car made 701whp and had a perfect engine when it came out. Hmmm....also it made plenty of passes down a track too....hmmm. whatever dude.
