Perhaps your higher mile engine is the culprit here . At lower pressures its ok but when the wick is turned up it leaks through the valves and rings . I know Jeff doesn't like the meth setups , but i would have thought you would have gained something . I would do a leakdown test before pushing for more power . Looking at your dyno sheet i would expect to see gains over the old pulley everywhere and not just the top end . When i went from my stock 8 psi pulley to the 12 pounder i saw gains everywhere . Stinks that you didn't get more . For what its worth though enjoy !

Yeah it could be the motor starting to get tired for sure. Hey thought that could be a possibility.

He said he added 4 degrees timing and it didn't make any power so brought it back down.

Maybe I was making a bit less power than my original 406whp at 12.5 psi and that's why it feels a good bit faster now.

Maybe it is time to put a built 2.4 stroker in there and upgrade the blower to handle a lot more boost.

That sounds good , just don't over do it and ruin the car . We have all seen many people do that on this forum .

Yeah i'm worried I will make it too nuts and then just get annoyed with it and sell it. Almost done that a few times already.

I'm looking up sc rebuild/upgrades right now though haha. Now that I went through all the efforts of getting meth I figure I might as well up the boost more so I can take advantage of the meth kit.

Thinking of just doing the si blower upgrade which should bump up cfm's a bit and then get a 3.2" pulley or something to get me hopefully up past 16 psi.

Wish I had done this during winter though as I don't want a month plus down time this time of year really.

Congrats on the added power; even if its lower than what you were expecting. 400whp seems to be the sweet spot with your type of supercharger. Everything after this costs a lot more for diminished returns.

You remind me of all motor 4 cylinder guys. They want to drag race and make big power to beet lambos and Ferraries but they want to stay all motor. Makes no sense to me.

500whp sc'd s2000 would still be very fast lol. Many people like the powerband of the S2000. You are not one of them. That is fine.

Lol. Mine is fun. 200whp increase over 1000rpm. Makes for white knuckle acceleration. My older daughter refers to the s2k as the roller coaster.

Wait for it.... 2 HP lol. But I mostly got it for the seals with meth. I thought I'd get a few more from it though. So 422 is my total.
Its important to port match the opening of your intake manifold to see the full gains, but regardless of any boost differences you should notice a change in throttle response. The larger butterfly allows more throttle with less foot movement so the car will seem more eager at partial throttle. But yeah make sure and port match the manifold. I noticed a good full point leaner through most of the rpm range when doing this and running the SOS tb both, which should equate to approx 10whp.
