Default NitrousHas anyone

Has anyone used nitrous on their s2k? just wondering what kind of kick in the pants i might get and if it would be a good idea to use a 100hp shot on a engine with this high of compression. is our engine strong enough to handle it? be honest! lol

I used a 75 shot for a few months, it was good. Beat a modded srt4 stage 3 with electronic cutout and a few more things. Also beat a evo 8 i think it was he had upgraded turbo and a few other things. I completley pulled away on both of them. Now i am turbod though. With the nitrous it would break lose shifting from 2nd to 3rd.
I hope I was some help.

Been spraying 75 shot for a while, you can check out my setup, its in my sig, pulled on a 300whp STI pretty decent with just 75 shot and ran a 12.98 at 113. I put about 200 pounds of nitrous through mine so far. Checked compression and plugs tonight, everything good.

I've got an extra nitrous kit laying around, I'm probably going to run a small shot for a while to hold me over until I get my turbo kit. just be conservative with the timing and the size of the shot and you'll be fine. I personally would stay away from a wet kit since if it's not done right you have to worry about puddling. unless you go for the Nossle (SP?) setup, that's a great system.

I would stay away from dry kits, you wont have to rely on ecu to compensate for the extra fuel and you can fine tune it yourself with diff jets. like candyman said, just make sure it is done right, its not to complicated and a nice boost for the price. I feel my setup is basically bullet proof with a lean shut off switch and every other accessory i have.
