Fuel pressure? What do you have, a Walbro 255? Is it making a funny noise?

Check for loose ground screws, by the ECU, and behind the head (by the firewall, back of engine).

Fuel pump is fine, it primes I can hear it from in cabin.

I found out today I believe the 1052u ECU has shit itself.... Awesome!

Brief summary of todays events...

I took my freiends advice and went out and bought a new battery, thinking it'd run partially flat over the 4wk period and knowing the AEM requires quite a few cranking amps to fire up properly.

ECU still didn't fire up. So I uploaded an older tune from another workshop and tried that, hoping it would work... it too failed, same problem ; so I just re-uploaded the good tune and pulled the ECU out altogether.

However with the AEM in place, a can of aerostart has the car idling fine bypassing the injectors.

I ran home and got the OEM ECU out of storage and went back to the dealership. Car fired up first go, although just a bit rough..... to be honest it sounded more like a 13B than an F20C. Car overfuelled by the time I even got to the street and we had to roll the car back into the carpark & I called another tow truck and sent it home again as the dealership couldn't assist anymore believing the ECU is at fault / faulty.

So before I go out and buy a new ECU (maybe not even AEM) I wanted some other thoughts of what may be wrong?

It has to be my ECU, right? Can't be cam angle sensor or knock sensor if the OEM ECU is running the car (with the Comptech ESM & RC750cc injectors even in place).

u mean #7 in this pic?

as far as i know, there is no service interval for a fuel filter in the car. sooo that must be a nonserviceable part that lasts the life of the car.

and i swapped out my pump for a walbro.

What they do is they look at the ECU for that price. Then, if necessary, they'll update the firmware for free. So it's worth it.
