After long hard drive(more than 1 hour), my Vortech fuel pump gets very noisy.
With top up, I can hear pump motor at idle.
As soon as, engine revs, I CANT hear due to my exhaust noise.
Is this my pump going bad?
It only happens sometimes.

Usualy after I shut off my engine for 20min and start again the noise goes away.

All the Walbro 255lph pumps I've ever heard are loud. They tend to make more noise as the tank gets empty. I wouldn't worry with it unless the pressure starts dropping.
