Build is looking good! I think you are going the correct way on the 1200.
There are several out there, not everyone posts here though. Unfortunatly the 1500 is not a good fit for the small displacement of the S2000, it belongs on a large displacement engine.
As for supporting mods, just b/c there is a lot of parts thrown on a car does not mean it will work.
