went to the stores yesterday trying to get some 40 weight oil. Only thing i could find was rotella - so based on the abundant "praise" i read on this thread i went with Rotella 5-40

another one for rotella

Not to get off topic but aside from oil what filter are you using? I use a factory pcx but sometimes run a WIX.

The PCX seems to have a better bypass system and a larger filter element but if you look at the inlet space at the bottom there is more distance from the base to the filter on the WIX so it looks like inlet flow is better on the WIX?

hears a pic of a cutaway from the dealer of the plm filter by fram. notice the cardboard end caps. the only difference between the fram orange filter and the honda plm-a02 if the seating gasket and honds puts glue to bind the cardboard ends to the filter element.

For an oil filter I like my big Baldwin filters

thats a nice find on the Baldwin filter.

It seems to have a similar bypass design as the OE filtec pcx unit. ima have to try one of these.
