Default oil filter choice for relocation kit

so after reading a thread that talked about oil filters, and how some have a pressure relief valve and some dont, i decided to ask who runs what and if they see a need for a filter exactly like the stock one.

i run a full blown oil relocation kit. i happen to have a TG3506 that fit on it and thats what i run right now. i have been told the stock filter has a relief valve to help with cold starts. i read on the fram site that the tg3506 has a "Silicone anti-drainback valve holds a reserve of oil in the filter to help protect the engine during start-ups"

honestly, i didnt think there was this much thought put into a damn oil filter. s2k has crazy high oil pressure, and i have never had a problem with oil pressure with the car ever, and i have run many different brand filters.

in the one thread i read, he mentioned a baldwin filter that helps add capacity to the system, approx 1 extra quart. anyone think this is needed?

that being said, what filters do you guys run?

side note, i am emailing LJ to ask him what i should have run for his kit. as i never asked so i guess i should lol.

IIRC, the S2kAtlanta club won't let folks on the track at their events unless they run the OEM filter or have a mechanism to handle filter failure. Something to do about the pressure being too much for non OEM filters. I don't know if it's true, but I only run OEM. They worked fine with the InlinePro relo kit and the Greddy relo kit.

camuman can't run the OEM filter because his oil relocation kit takes a oil filter with (Thread: 13/16-16) not(Thread: M20 x 1.5) as what is on the "S".
