My Greddy turbo started going bad this year.. I have a total of maybe 10k miles on the turbo. I did notice that there was pressure on the return line when used at the drain plug position. I have oil on various components from where it would blow out sometimes. This is why I am tapping my pan above the drain plug. I have read a bunch of threads where this is sufficient enough to not back up in the line. I did notice that the return line will not be that long with the inline setup and a 5965 turbo. Maybe 8" at most.
