Default Opinions on PLX Multi Gauges?

I'm only wanting to have 1 hidden gauge mounted above the start button and was thinking this would be a good alternative. Everyone seems to be using Defi gauges, and for the price of multiple Defi gauges, I could get just one that is more stealthy.

Their demo vehicle is an S2000.

I have had the plx gauge for a yr now I like them. Seem to work just fine, I wish they gave yu more cable though. They are a bit hard to see in direct sunlight espically with the top down. But I think if i had a white background it would help. Thing that's nice about these is that you can have upto 16 different metrics on one display and warnings can be customized.

I own one and its in the spot where the mode button is. It looks nice, the custom guage face is cool, and its very flexible.

There are two downsides. 1) Price, its expensive. 2) Since it is an lcd guage you can not always read it clearly in the default settings in bright sun with the top down. Most of the time I am reading air fuel with big numbers and I can make it out in bright sunlight, but mounted in the audio panel, it angles slightly upward and is hard to see in the sun. You can change the colors of the background and fonts I believe to mitigate the problem, but I have not messed with that much yet.

No complaints here, other that it being hard to see in direct sunlight. It's nice because you can add on other modules later and only have one display. Also, if you get the OBDII version, you can see alot of the ECU parameters.

i have the older plx wideband r500. they discontinued all the firmware and support from shortly after they released it, they promised so much with it too. there was a huge thread on it in the forums there, with alot of unhappy customers. I am not a fan of their customer service thats for sure Although I was interested in these LCD gauges I personally will not buy from them again.
