Wink Ordering Turbo next week, TWINSCROLL :)

Guys I think I have asked this before, but I am still back and forth on what turbo to get

I will be going with PFAB's ELTM manifold, 3mm Headgasket, Water/Methanol injection/AEM stand alone

I love TORQUE, and love Midrange, but the majority of my "WOT adventures" happens post 5,000RPMS, and lets face it, one your out of 1st gear, is MID-Range more important than TOP-END?

Though I am not looking to be the fastest guy out there, it would be amusing to hang with, and or slowly pull away from a Z06. The mid-range seems very enticing, but so does the appeal of 550RWHP.

I dunno I am looking for pros and cons on both of these, I dont want a dyno queen, but I also dont want something that runs out of steam in the RPM range I will be using the most <--------when going WOT

Thanks fellas, all opinions would be appreciated, basically looking for guys that have experience with both and what you did/did not like about the turbo etc........

Gt3076R = midrange turbo. Its quick as hell, but its not gonna outrun larger turboson the highway usually.

gt3582R = midrange + topend. It has lessmidrange than a 30R but moretopend. Its still a good spooling turbo but nothing like driving a 30R which spools as early as 2500rpm.

I love my 30R, Mid range is great!
You def need to feel it for yourself before making a decision.
Jeff Evans suggested me this turbo as well. Did not disappoint.
I maxed out at around 520 whp and 380 tq

i think the gt3076 with an efficient tubular manifold is the best DD setup for the S2000. You have great transient response from off/on throttle and have the ability to make 500+whp. It has much more torque under the curve than a gt35 and will start making boost sooner. If you are just looking to do highway pulls and not drive the car in traffic or day to day, then the gt35 would be a smarter decision. It also gives you the ability to make more power when 550whp+ becomes slow.

agreed, the 3076 is an amazing daily driver turbo and 500whp isnt ever going to feel slow. ( to me at least )

I would do a gt35, cause your doing both the 3mm HG and Meth, that mean you should be able to boost around 23 psi the gt3076 may struggle a bit toward the end of the boost range. Which is gonna be some crazy scarry number. The meth should let you advance the timing on the gt35 to bring on boost faster and it will make more top end for your street runs. IMO
