Overheating issue...
Bleed using the Billman250 method, it takes a while but it is the best way I have used to bleed my system and it gets out the hard to get bubles that form in our sytems. I have a vented hood, mishimoto radiator, oem honda coolant, stock fans, oem fan switch, oem thermostat, water cooled turbo, and a front mount blocking it and cruising at 55mph my coolant temps dont go above 170 degrees on a 70 degree day. I hate to beat a dead horse but bleeding the system correctly is the biggest issue that I used to have mith my s2k and some of my friends s2k's. I hope this helps you out.
i got to the point where i didnt trust the bars like you said. that is why i went with a gauge. i went with the hood vents because my car is more for show and driven on nice days only. if your battery and fuse box are tucked, hood vents would be an option. i dont think there are too many people running more than 500 who do not have an aluminum rad. if you can afford the mods to reach that much power then you have enough for the rad! it sounds like you need to bleed it properly as well as find a better combo for fluid imo.
have you verified the temps in aem when you get 4-5 bars? have you even looked at what temps its reporting back to you? aem v2 drives the dash gauge, but does it drive it just like stock or is it different like the modifry driver?

Thanks to EVERYONE for their quick and helpful replies. Seems the fans/sensors & AIR/Bleeding needs to be checked ! Will advise if any other issues. Thanks again !!
