What are the benefits to this? I'm boosted and have the stock one.

The problem is the stock pvc is weak and meant to only go one direction.
(You may have heard of crank-vents)
Once you feed boost into it from the intake manifold, it's going to leak it back into your head.

It also eliminates evaporated oil going into your intake manifold, which then sometimes takes dirty air and makes the inside of it full of black deposits.
