Is it possible to make between 400-500whp and
I was just wondering this because it seems like the kits that are carb legal are limited to around 300-325whp (greddy turbo, CTSC).
Right now it seems that Vortech is the only carb legal kit that has the potential to reach high whp levels, do I have any other options?
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question.
Thanks

just look at cars like the GTR...I'm sure it's possible to have a carb legal kit at those power levels, BUT it may cost you a lot of money. end result not worth it IMO!! I'm guessing it's because you live in the wonderful Nazi state of California..you can always get a Kpro or HKS f con if you need to be OBDII compliant. just take it to a small mom/pop smog shop.
The main going of staying "legal" mean you have no engine codes, and all of your IM readiness codes are set and complete before the Obd2 test. When running a larger fuel system the stock ecu can not control what is being done. On a car that comes factory with a turbocharger, the stock ecu can be modified because you already have a stock ecu that uses the senors needs to control a turbocharger system. Passing all obd2 tests will require no engines lights such as O2 sensor/ main cat/ ect ect. One thing that comes to mind is the K pro software and ecu for the Rsxs that honda makes for the s2000. This should retain obd2 functions and let you be able to turn off the o2 senors since you will be tuning by MAP and Rpm. What are you wanting to do exactly?

Would it be a lot of work to go from a highly modded vortech kit back to a stock carb legal vortech kit in the event of a smog test?
I just want a lot of horsepower and I live california, that's all, and my s2000 would be a daily driver, so I just can't inline turbo it and hide it away or something.
I saw the science of speed supercharger and that really caught my eye, but I doubt it will be carb legal.
