Default possibly going back to stock....

I really dont want to but its just one thing after another with having a turbo nothing crazy expensive has happened just little things but theyve been addin up and im considering goin back to ol' realiable stock but i have a 3mm HG installed and i dont wanna pay $800 to get it removed ya know. i dont consider myself highly mechanically inclined just for lack of expereience but i have changed my clutch and flywheel out and installed majority of my turbo setup but did have shop do fuel setup and HG install and to remove it is goin to suck. what do you think about me removing it if i have ..hopefully all the proper tools and im using the s2000 shop manual any advice or opinions would help much i really dont want to go back to stock but when is it too much to call it quits??

what do you keep paying for thats racking up? What kit do you have and did you get a good tune? Also do you maintenance it like you should? It sucks to hear that your having problems maybe stock without worries is best for you.

im using the p-fab kit its a good kit im just having problems with heat i had things wrapped but when my turbo coolant line came loose it sprayed everywhere and soaked my wraps and was smokin profusley i thought it would burn off but then when i checked things out more they kind of burnt and turned brittle at some parts and then my coupler on my intake side of turbo ended up melting for touchin the wastegate dump tube. my fuse box melted even after i relocated it 90 degrees and moved my battery to the trunk. so right now im goin to get my parts thermo coated and hopefully that helps A LOT. if i thermo coat my parts should i still or do i have to wrap them still? my tune is ok im not to impressed on how he my tuner set it its like my car hits peak hp at 6800rpm im at 377@13psi it doesnt make sense because my AFRs look right but im not expert dependin how things go with extra cash i want to get it tuned by shawn church since i live in San diego hes about 1.5 hrs away

ouch damn I see, I have an inline kit with no major problems so far no melting or anything guess I have it lucky. Well with the problems come the joy sort of like having kids I guess haha. Being unique with a turbo s2k and it being at on of fun driving with that kick in the butt turbo. Weight out the pros and cons and see where you end up. I wish you the best in whatever choice you make.
