Default problem in turbo install

i tried to install my t3 60-1 with the rev hard mani and the compressor housing is touching the frame.
i dont want to cut the frame.
is there any another option?
is there any kind of compressor housing which is a/r .60 that will fit on my turbo?
if u can also add pics it will help my a lot.

cut the frame - not big deal, if you are worried about strenght then cut it and box it back in.

Go for it! I did.

Sorry for size.

You will need to mask the opening wth tape and spray some Bar-B-Q (heat resistant) spray paint on the edges, to prevent rust in the long run.

I wouldn't cut the frame.

Most log manifolds have this problem. Try grinding away the offending bolt on the compressor cover, reclocking, or pounding the frame out of the way. A combination of those three should solve the problem.

the b cover on 30r/5965 sized turbos clear the frame on the ilp mani. i am unfamiliar with the design of the rev hard mani but it looks to me like it might be a shorter design which SHOULD yield a bit more room.

if you cant find a smaller cover, i would try to mallet the area before you attempt to cut anything - how much space do you really need to clear the turbo anyway? have you tried to install the turbo in pieces? on my ILP kit i had to bolt my turbo to the manifold without the comp housing before adding it later after it was on the car.

I used a grinder. Not easy, God forbid you have to do it. But it's done, and there are no problems.

some turbos won't clear still. I put mine in 3 pieces, and compressor side was a good 1.5x3" inside the frame. Then you gotta add room for movement. Engine will move, under torque, a good .5".

i tried it in so many ways.
the problem is that its so tight between the frame and the engine and the adaptor for the oil filter relocation.
im trying to fabricate some kind of an adaptor between the turbo and the mani so i can move the turbo a few millimeter and i hope that it will solve my problem or maybe i will get a local shop to build me a new manifld.
i didnt decide yet but im sure im not going to cut the frame.
thank u for the answers , i will update in a few days.
