Looks great Sarek! Please PM with with pics of where you had the interference with the casting on the head and the ODB bracket.

We'll release a billet mounting bracket for the MAC solenoid after we release our greddy-specific ODB and NA ODB setup.

Did you ever figure out if this was compatible with an oil filter relocation unit that was mounted in the same area? I know you were talking about it in another thread... It looks like they could be stacked, but its hard to say without having it in front of me.

I would love to have the item. Just worried about its compatibility with my oil filter relocation.

Can take pictures of my setup if need be.

We would need to see pics of your setup especially the area where it's mounted to the block, preferably an aerial view.

MrC or anyone else at PTuning,

I have been back and forth with the idea about using the vacuum block off of the PTUNING Billet Oil AND Vacuum Distribution Block Kit (w/8-port ODB, 9-port VAC Block and Mounting Bracket) as a water (coolant) block instead so that I can run my water temp sensor off of there. Since I am going to use the port on the intake (where the vacuum hose goes to the air injection valve) for my boost gauge, the vacuum block is no longer needed.

I don't mind sourcing the parts myself (if needed).

My questions to you for converting the vacuum block to a water block is:

FYI: I have the PTuning Turbo Kit.

Can I just cut one of the coolant hoses going to or from the turbo and feed it into the distribution block (using the supplied nipples)?

Is their a particular way to do this?

Which hose is preferable to use:

The outside turbo water line to the throttle body?

Or

The inside turbo water line to the intake manifold?

By doing this, would it restrict the coolant flow going to or from the turbo?

I also have the coolant sensor adaptor that you fit into the upper radiator hose. Is it better to just use this to get a more accurate water temp reading?

Thank you,
-Kashain

BTW, MrC I sent you a PM regarding this matter a few days ago, if you answer here please disregard the PM.
