What clutch will you advise for this kit (wich also has OEM feeling to it)
Dont think the Exedy OEM replacement will do..

Nice job on this one!

Toan I have 2 questions for you:
1. Since this manifold is log style and will be mass produced, how can you ensure fitment and build to be 100%? Some companies have had issues with proper fitment when trying to sell a log style built by hand manifold. It seems like companies such as IP & Greddy that offer a cast style are having no problems selling there kits,

2. Will you be tuning through HONDATA in order to offer a FLASHPRO tuned ECU for DBW with the kit so everything is truly plug and play?

Currently i'm running the ACT HD clutch kit. I've had my car turbo'ed twice previously with 300whp on the first kit, 330ish whp on the 2nd kit and at both times I've never had issues with slippage.

Since the kit is still in it's final stages and hasn't really been street driven, I can't personally say for sure if my clutch will hold the 400+ whp.

But you're definitely correct that you will most likely need an upgrade.

I'm still currently looking for a higher clamping clutch at the moment just in the ACT won't hold either.

Interesting set-up. Subscribing for results after some miles have been put on the car.

Thank you for the questions.

First off though, this is absolutely, positively NOT a log manifold. While we agree that our manifold may not take the award for being the most sick-nasty, crazy medusa-looking, turbo manifold ever made for the S2000 - it is a full tubular equal length manifold with a true 360 degree-symmetrical merge collector.

Our turbo manifold design also passes the basic litmus test for efficiency (torque curve increases when lowering the VTEC crossover point). All in all our straightforward manifold design flows EXTREMELY well and also happens to weigh in at a svelte 9 lbs.

Now to answer your question pertaining to fitment.....All components are properly fixtured on a custom jig during welding to ensure that each fabricated piece is identical to the next.

We will also be going a step further and creating a jig just for clocking the turbocharger assembly before shipping. (Turbine Housing <--> CHRA <--> Compressor Housing) This will reduce installation time and ensure a perfect fit with other related components.

We have plans to create a base map for both the FlashPro DBW models and AEM EMS-equipped non-DBW models.
