Rear's were 17x8.5 +42 I believe.

The gentlemen who bought my car sold those wheels and replaced them with AP2's... though it could not be slammed, it sat much more flush.

If you like your car being slammed, it probably wont work. If you don't mind a little bit of wheel gap you should be fine!

I kinda like the no gap look, I will see how the 255's hold up

do they have Drag radials in 255s ( I am sure they do right?)

I believe MT only offers a 255 drag radial for 16" wheels.

I am running the 255-50-16 Mickey Thompsons. I highly recommend them.

Here is a cell phone pic:

i am far from high HP, but i run 275-35-18's and can floor it in first toyo RA1 r comp great in rain and dry. but when you get half worn, only great in dry. sucks in rain. slick with two lines.

on a 18*9.5 wheel.

absolutely do a DR or r comp. dont make sick power and then not be able to use it. i spun azenis 265-35-18's on my crap power in first and second. fernando runs 255-40-16 DR i think, and it holds pretty damn good. now if i were you i would try the toyo first, if it doesnt hold, go right to a DR.

there is a toyo RA1 275-40-17 and a 255-40-17. iu would def look at those two. since the toyo will handle way better in the twisties then a DR.

Yeah, I love my wheels so I am going to stick with 17s. The Brisdgestone RE-01r's seem pretty good, so I will stick with them, then maybe do some kind of R compound or drag radial.

My main concern was going WOT at like 60mph and loosing control, however it seems like if it is dry and in the summer (good tread on tired) I should not have a problem......

just be VERY CAREFUL! haha when that boost spikes up, the torque will kick on soo hard that their is a good chance that u might lose control. Get the widest tires you can possibly put on and... only floor it when you are already going high speeds.
(lower speeds will cause spinning)
