you arent going to be able to make much more power than 600whp racegas or not. Unless you decide to upgrade your fuel setup. With that said you really wont be having traction issues on 60mph pulls in 3rd gear at all. In the winter its another story but just about any 245-255 summer tire will hook.

I have more miles at 550-600whp daily driving than anyone on this forum. I always ran a 245 summer tire and had zero issues in 3rd gear, Im sorry but people who say they spin 3rd on a 245 summer tire in summer with less than 600whp isnt being completely honest. These cars dont make a ton of tq.

If you run higher than 600whp then the 255 et streets hook really well like fernando said. Hes running over 800whp and has no traction issues with those. Guys with supras making 1000whp and a lot more tq than s2000s run them and they hook great also. My car dead hooked in 2nd gear with them when warm at 772whp.

The lower the treadwear number, the stickier the tires are and less mileage you will get out of the them.

When i was making 508&361tq, i could floor it from any rpm in second gear, and hook dead with a kuhmo all season 235 on stock Ap1 wheels. Even if i floored it in first gear, it wouldnt "spin" really, it would just kinda not go anywhere. It wasnt like it was kicking sideways or anything. I was on stock struts/tein Stechs.

First gear doesnt really put enough load on the engine to make a lot of power. But yeah people would be suprised how well the s2000 hooks. I used to drive high HP fwd cars and when i switched to the s2000 i was very suprised and like i said even at 600whp it still wasnt all over the place.

With some good warm tires, the car does stick pretty well. Cannot complain about the Mickey Thompsons.

Hey guys, when I get my setup done (taking forever) I am concerned about 500-600RWP and the handling of the S.

For example the Viper has 345's in the rear, I have 255's.......

DO you guys find that your car is ALL OVER the road when you go WOT from a roll (summer weather)

AT what piont is the HP not really usable?

experiences please
Joey, I just read this for the first time.

The only thing I can tell you is, we have HP but they have torque and I would recomend setting up two tunes, one with boost by gear and the other going all out.
