Default Questions for the Inlinepro owners

So, I want to prep. the car for this setup and don't want to have any issues. What are a few things needed to be done before driving it with this setup? Are people relocating their battery and fuse box? I'm thinking about relocating it just because of the manifold. Any suggestion would help thanks.

so far with my set up i havn't done anything special, although its only been turboed for 2 weeks. The only thing I would think is maybe covering the a/c lines and the coupler by the turbo with some heat wrap.

only thing i did was used some kind of and just wrapped it around the a/c lines, i also had to bend the bracket for the heater lines because it touched the wastegate but you cant do that until turbo kit is on. And advice for you, i would tap the girdle and do the headgasket if you are doing one before you put the kit on because its a lot to do all at once. Also make sure you have the updated oil squirters in the block because that will cause the cylinders to be starved of oil. goodluck, take your time and have fun.

i had to replace my A/C line becuase my charge pipe touched it and rubbed a hole. so i would wrap it with something. i also had to re-route my heater hose becasue the dump tube got so hot it melted it away and i started leaking.

awesome thanks for the responses. So none of you guys had issues with the battery being so close to the manifold?

I'm currently vortech sc and have updated the squirters already. The guy I'm getting it from told me his own battery bubbled up.

I'll definately take the advice to wrap the ac lines, possibly bend them, and wrap the heater hose.
