Default oil restrictor for inline pro kit

Hey guys I was wondering if I ordered the right restrictor for my kit?

oil restrictor

Also for installation is it as easy as taking the oil supply hose off near the turbo take old fitting off and put this fitting on? Sorry for the simple question just want to make sure.

I'm guessing this is the inlet at the top of the turbo? your running inline pro. I thought it was a -5 but I am not sure, give them a call tomorrow tom is more then helpful.

Doesnt look like the one that came with my kit. That looks aluminum? But yes, just screw that into the turbo, reconnect the oil feed line and you're set.

Are you running a ball bearing 5965?
That's the correct size for ball bearing watercooled.
I'm running a .035 restrictor with -4 feed and have had zero issues.

I didn't get a restrictor with my InlinePRO kit either. You would think that'd be a necessity for a turbo kit.

I am trying to troubleshoot my problems first is why I ordered one. My exhaust has been smoking for a bit so I figured I would give this a shot. I suspect the seals are going out on the turbo though. Anyone know best method to check that?

If it's smoking its typically too late but some have been lucky in stopping the smoke. If u need to get it serviced be careful what u tell Precision/Garret when they ask about restrictor and sealant. Although JB don't need restrictors, our cars need it but Precision will void based off that theory. BB on the other hand need them regardless.
