I've been getting mixed search results and I was wondering if the 300zx turbo R230 would work or not? I've found one for 50$ from an importer (JDM scrapyard car). After a few searches, I found someone said that the NA and turbo differentials are identical in exterior dimensions ?

Couldn't find a definitive answer so I figured I'd ask here. Can the R230 differential from a turbo 300zx be used with the InlinePRO differential kit?

I beleive the R200 comes out of the NA 300zx, I think the turbo version has the R230.

Well I was assuming that since it's bigger, it'd throw off the mounting of the diff for the kit. Can't find the thread that was in regards to 300zx's swapping diffs, but they swap the complete subframe. I would imagine that if the differentials had the same external dimensions that they would simply swap the differentials. Figured for the 100-200$ difference I'll just go with what the kit was designed for.

You can't use the R230 in place of the R200.

Not as a direct swap anyways.
