If it fits now, imo that would be a much better option than bending the cross member I wouldn't want to do that either

 

When i tore my OEM mounts i had the blower directly on the cross member to the point that i thought i blown my motor.

I purchased the megan/hardrace mounts over 3 years ago and no sag. I barely tapped my cross member lip for the oil return line but i didnt have too.
