rb26dett + s2000
The only problem i see with it is that nissan engines are setup opposite of honda and toyota engines(ie intake and exhaust manifolds are swapped). Meaning there might be ALOT of fabrication if you had to reroute all the abs, brake booster and the like of items on the drivers side. With enough time and money anything is possible. Let me know if EVERYTHING works afterword(ie A/C, power steering, cruise control, Gauge cluster) I would be VERY interested in doing that swap. I mean hell we are already putting nissan diff's in why not the whole damn drive train.
I dont know if you even give 2 shits about this, but I know how much the F20C and F22C engines weigh, have you considered how badly you're going to **** up your 50/50 weight distro with a 2jz or rb26 engine and getrag 6 spd tranny (if you go with a tranny)? Or even how you plan on putting all that power to the ground (I assume you want over 700whp since a 2jz is made for those #s) with such a small wheelbase?
I'm surprised the only swap out there is that 2jz S2000... I guess knowing how awesome of a handler this car is, people don't want to mess with its heart.... But sad to say that a LS1 would be the best out of all swaps for raw power and even be around the same weight as the F20... My gawd would that S2000 fly with a semi built LS1. Reminds me of the videos of Fd's with LS1's with mild mods doing 10s all day long.
I was talking to one of my mustang buds about doing an ls1 or ls2 swap, but didn't know if it would fit. That would be bad ass with just bolt ons and a tune. I told my buddy I'd spray 100 shot too.
