Like I said, my tune was super conservative. The fuel was very bad. We were having issues all day with fuel.. It was like a crappy 91 not even a good 91 so my luck it's like 87oc haha
You should see a gain in lower band power. The way they described it. It's like a seesaw pull it up on one side it lowers on the other side of the rpm band.
Now I don't know anything about getting more boost out of bigger piping and intercooler... I can attest to Skunk2/Kraftwerks customer service. Holy cow it's been great! Like incredible.. Helped me at every turn. Overnighted stuff. Just really great!
That statement from them doesn't make since and is easily disproved looking at TTS kits running the c38-91. I feel this statement is based on the fact they didn't successfully make more power with the larger blower. Upping your redline is fine, the problem is that your spinning it passed the max Rotrex recommends for it.

Overnighted stuff? That's pretty amazing service and you should count yourself lucky considering I still haven't received my parts.

"Thanks for the Email. I have guys working on it already. We should be able to get everything taken care of by tomorrow." -Kraftwerks

That was a reply to my first email notifying them of my missing parts on March 6... Still no parts, just a lot of apologies with no explanations.
I have about 7 emails from the past month and half telling me that my parts will be shipped "this Friday", "this coming Monday", "no later than Thursday", still nothing.

Here's to hopes that everything will be awesome in the end but dealing with this kind service is starting to get to me.

Just saw Evans tuning tuned an ap1 with new kit, skunk2 header, exhaust, test pipe etc on 93. It made 403whp and 235tq with aem ems at 14psi.

I made 406whp 240tq same dyno there with 12.5 psi vortech v2 kit stock header, hks dual exhaust ap1 as well for comparison.

So far the power output of the new c38 kit is rather marginal compared to the old c30 ones, and averaging less peak trq and hp over non maxed out vortech kits. So far this is coinciding with what id expect from the quoted 900cfm of the c38, which for reference is the same cfm the archaic Novi 1000/comptech blowers produce.

why is tts making so much more? 500+ I'm starting to wonder if kw can even crack 425whp.

For kraftwerks to convince me I want to see multiple dynos whit stock header and exhaust systems Ap2 Dyno 420whp at 11psi or I'll just order a new c30 supercharger and slap on my old kit back on

The 500 plus kits are running the c38-91 with larger piping and better intercooler than their c38 kit.

Yea I saw this to which brings me to my question. Why would I buy this over the other brands that have proven effective and able to produce more power?

Well I'm very happy with mine now. After the little details were worked out.

So I could push more boost if I upgraded to the c38-91, 4" piping, full race large intercooler?
